Here is what to expect...

• Results of the 2020 election of Directors.

• Reports from WSMTA Clinical Practices and Government Relations Programs. Both of our teams have been working especially hard these last several months.

• COVID-19 Question and Answer-this will be an opportunity to submit your most pressing questions in advance about returning (or not returning) to work. This will give our team time to research, make inquiries and provide vetted answers to our membership.

• John Tirpak with the Unemployment Law Project will join us to discuss questions and concerns coming up about unemployment and return to work issues.

The leadership at WSMTA are massage therapists, just like you. And just like you, we were bombarded with a lot of confusing information about what COVID-19 is, how it affects people who contract it and what does this all mean for massage therapists. Fortunately some of us have had a little extra time on our hands to carefully review the information and reach out to the Department of Health, Board of Massage, L&I, Governor’s office, legal council, CDC, OSHA, WHO, employment and other specialists, other healthcare providers and their organizations, as well as to lots of massage therapists to bring you the most comprehensive information possible for LMTs in Washington State during these challenging times. This has created a great opportunity to take a deeper dive into researching the answers to some of the most pressing questions.

Join us on June 28 for camaraderie, support and hopefully some answers and clarifications to your questions and concerns.
